This kind of 350mm Graphite Electrode for Arc Furnaces uses high-quality calcined needle coke as the raw material. The needle coke is crushed and sieved in machinery and then formulated according to the required proportion. The mixed raw material is mixed with a certain proportion of asphalt and heated and kneaded to make it a plastic paste. Then,through the pressing,baking,and graphitization processes, the carbon atom structure is rearranged into a specific crystalline form, and the carbon is converted into graphite. In addition, it features good electrical and chemical properties, high mechanical strength at high temperatures, good shock resistance, and is a good conductor of heat and electricity. It is widely used in electric arc furnaces and refining furnaces for steelmaking.
