Graphite electrode is the only material that can withstand high temperatures up to 3000 degrees Celsius without being deformed and melted. So, they are chosen to make steel in electric arc furnaces (EAF) and ladle furnaces (LF).
How does it work in practice? While electrical current passing through the electrode, the electrode tips create an electric arc which generates extremely high heat and melts the steel into molten iron. High temperature resistance and thermal shock resistance makes it an indispensable material for steelmaking.

Separated package---The electrodes and nipples are packaged separately.
Pre-connection package--- The nipple is connected with one end of electrode body in advance, and then both of them are packaged by wooden rafters, strapped outside with steel bands, the threaded nipples and end faces are covered by foamed plastic caps in order to protect them from damage.

Q3: What Is the MOQ?
Minimum order quantity is 20 tons, about one 20' container.
Q4: What Is the delivery time?
For FOB delivery, it takes about 14 days.
For CIF or DAP delivery, it takes one or two months, depending on the destination.
Q5: What are the delivery terms?
EXW, FOB, CIF, DAP at your option.
Q6: What are the payment terms you can accept?
T/T: 30% down payment, and 70% against B/L copy.
L/C: sight or usance acceptable
Deferred payment: Only applicable to regular customers
